James Williams, former officer of the United States Army Special Forces, renowned martial artist, champion of slashing competitions, and tactical swordsmith. After retiring, he devoted himself to the research of cold weapons and combat, creating a brand called "Williams Knife Design" with a Japanese wave pattern as its logo. Williams, based on borrowing from Japanese short knives, ultimately developed the deadly blade type. With his ability to kill, he became a guest of honor at major knife factories such as CRKT and Winkler. Supported by the development trend of modern tactical cutting tools, the SZK has powerful cutting and piercing performance, and can complete any challenge in high-risk combat environments. Therefore, the SZK also has a Japanese style short blade shape, but the blade does not use segmented grinding.
